Sweater Weather Essentials

Lately, I have been streamlining my wardrobe and gravitating towards quality basics that I can wear everyday. The number one piece that I have been buying up most recently is the cashmere sweater. San Francisco is a chilly city so lightweight sweaters are a plus in the Spring time. Uniqlo offers a beautiful selection of colors (great price point too!) in their cashmere crew neck and turtleneck sweaters, it has become my new uniform! I love wearing them with a sweet slip skirt or tucked into a pair of high waisted Levi's, finishing touches include accessorizing with a vintage silk scarf and jewelry.

We have been overwhelmed from the success of our Vintage Designer Jewelry launch at Sweet & Spark, especially by all those fellow Chanel lovers out there! We are already busy hunting down more hidden gems to re-stock this special collection. I had so much fun working with Jillian to hand select each authentic piece, we saw so many beautiful estates and collections along the way. 

These were some of my favorite snaps I took from the launch this Spring, each piece is so gorgeous in person and has so much history to share. Vintage Wedding Jewelry

There are still days where I need to pinch myself to remember that I am indeed engaged. It feels like forever ago that we were celebrating with friends and family over the holidays after Patrick and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary. We are planning on having a long engagement so that we can enjoy the moment before all the craziness kicks in. With that said, we will most likely start exploring destination venues late this Summer and meeting with wedding planners to get a head start on the process. 

Since I am officially engaged, curating the Sweet & Spark Wedding Collection with Jillian has been much more exciting lately. I can't help thinking about what vintage jewelry I want to find for my big day, I might be more excited about hunting for the jewels than finding a dress. I will try to keep wedding updates on the blog without ruining too much of the surprise!

Vintage Home Decor

When it comes to decorating my home, I love to mix in vintage accents like dishes, vases, figurines and perfume bottles. I especially love florals and anything gold! My favorite corner of our apartment is where my dresser lives. It is covered in vintage dishes and trays that hold most of my vintage jewelry collection. My Mother and I found most of my dresser accessories in Dallas at antique malls. Our new home decor category at Sweet & Spark has all my favorite things, it has been so much fun curating the dreamiest home accessories with Jillian.
