We launched a brand new category this past season at Sweet & Spark inspired by our second most loved vintage accessory: scarves! Similar to our jewels, we hand select designs that are timeless, feminine and still feel modern. We keep our eye out especially for anything pink and floral when it comes to prints. Among our flowery scarf collection, we also have a selection of designer scarves from Emilio Pucci, Oscar de la Renta, Liberty of London, Gucci and more.

Lately, I have been streamlining my wardrobe and gravitating towards quality basics that I can wear everyday. The number one piece that I have been buying up most recently is the cashmere sweater. San Francisco is a chilly city so lightweight sweaters are a plus in the Spring time. Uniqlo offers a beautiful selection of colors (great price point too!) in their cashmere crew neck and turtleneck sweaters, it has become my new uniform! I love wearing them with a sweet slip skirt or tucked into a pair of high waisted Levi's, finishing touches include accessorizing with a vintage silk scarf and jewelry.

I have been collecting and adding to my scarf collection since early high school years. It began with a few vintage Chanel scarfs, then there was a big Emilio Pucci phase when I could not get enough of the 1960's, then as my style matured I turned to vintage Hermes silk scarfs. Each one carries a special story or commemorates an event in my life and I treasure them dearly. A classic silk scarf will never go out of style and there are so many ways to wear them. I love styling them as big bows on my favorite handbags and always as the classic staples: tied in a headband or a turban... but my favorite way to wear a scarf is tied around my neck. Either in a bow, wrapped around twice or even just draped, a scarf is always the perfect accessory.
