Back to School

I will be attending a jewelry academy for a Spring and Summer semester this year! After working as a designer in the fashion industry for years, I have always wanted to learn more about the craft of making jewelry by hand so that I can fabricate my own designs. After moving to San Francisco this year, I finally had the chance to enroll at a school out here. My courses will focus on bench jeweler techniques like soldering, filing, casting, stone setting, polishing, repairs and diamond grading.

For my classes, there's a lot I have to carry back and forth... Pliers, files, safety goggles, a saw frame, drills... You get the picture! I've partnered with Radley for my go-to backpack. The Kennington Large Domed Backpack is sleek, modern and practical. I love the structured shape, perfect for carrying around my projects and other fragile tools!

Morning at the Met

I visited The Metropolitan Museum a few weeks ago to see the Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology exhibit with my Mother while she was in town for a girl's weekend. We spent the rest of our afternoon wandering the sculpture halls at the Met. Afterwards, we walked over to Bergdorf's for dessert and tea.

Packing for Paris

I have been looking forward to my upcoming trip to Paris for months now, I am eager to start packing! France will always have a special place in my heart... it is where my parents got married and it is now the home of my best friend and former college roommate (who I have not seen in 2+ years!!). I am looking forward to sharing my favorite sights, sips and scenes with you, in the mean time you can follow along with my Instagram
