It's Fall time! I am excited to start wearing my favorite Highland Boots from Stuart Weitzman again... The flattering suede over the knee boots became such an iconic staple last season, I am eager for their return as well as coming up with new ways to style them. Tea, scones, finger sandwiches, macarons? Yes please! High tea has been a favorite tradition of mine since I was a little girl organizing parties with my stuffed animals. When I had the chance to pick out charms for my new Links of London Sweetie Bracelet I was so excited to see a Tea Pot, a Tea Cup & Saucer, and a Macaron charm... All the tea party necessities! I have been collecting and adding to my scarf collection since early high school years. It began with a few vintage Chanel scarfs, then there was a big Emilio Pucci phase when I could not get enough of the 1960's, then as my style matured I turned to vintage Hermes silk scarfs. Each one carries a special story or commemorates an event in my life and I treasure them dearly. A classic silk scarf will never go out of style and there are so many ways to wear them. I love styling them as big bows on my favorite handbags and always as the classic staples: tied in a headband or a turban... but my favorite way to wear a scarf is tied around my neck. Either in a bow, wrapped around twice or even just draped, a scarf is always the perfect accessory. I am so happy to share my go-to dessert spots around Soho with everyone! This Manhattan neighborhood is a favorite of mine, full of yummy treats. Ladurée, a Parisian classic, has a pastry shop in Soho. The best part is their outdoor patio seating, the perfect setting for a macaron filled brunch! Chobani, the greek yogurt company, has a little restaurant in Soho where you can grab delightful yogurt parfait combinations- also a great spot to get ideas to make at home. The Néspresso coffee shop also serves the most delicious drinks and treats, my favorite is the coffee ice cream float topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Van Leeuwen, the artisan ice cream truck, can be spotted around Soho serving some of the creamiest scoops (check twitter for daily locations).
